Open the 
Workflow Event Hierarchies window.
Specifies how workflow responses are displayed in the Workflow Events window that opens when you choose the drop-down button on a workflow step. Both the vertical axis and the horizontal axes show workflow events.
Cells with check marks indicate that the event in question can only be used after the specified preceding events. Cells without check marks indicate that the events in question cannot be used after any event. For events that only contain check marks on some rows, the event is displayed first and not in bold font in the Workflow Events. For events that contain check marks on all rows, the event is displayed last and in bold font.
